This Mentoring and Supervision document is the outcome of the OT AUSTRALIA Mentoring/Supervision Project, which was conducted from May 1999 to February 2000. It provides guidelines for mentoring and supervision as applied to the Accredited Occupational Therapist Program. Click here to view this pdf Review of Mental Health Course Content in Australian University Occupational Therapy Programs In June 2003, the Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Branch, Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing commissioned OT AUSTRALIA to conduct a survey of all Occupational Therapy programs in Australian universities to determine the level of mental health content in undergraduate and graduate entry level courses. OT AUSTRALIA appointed a project officer, and a steering committee was formed by the OT AUSTRALIA National Advisory Group: Mental Health to manage the project. The report on this project was delivered to the Department in September 2003, and has already been discussed at meetings planning the future directions of the implementation of the National Practice Standards for the Mental Health Workforce.
